Luke (my husband) has been trying to convince me hard core to name the baby Luke. His new strategy was to get the kids on his side. Here’s a conversation he just had with Alyssa.
Luke (my husband): Alyssa, I was thinking that we should call the new baby Luke.
Alyssa: No, but your name is Luke Daddy.
Luke: I know, but I really like the name Luke, it’s a good name so I think we should name the baby Luke too.
Alyssa: But the baby’s name is Dylan.
Luke: But I was thinking that we could name him Luke.
Alyssa: No but you are Luke, the baby is not Luke.
Luke: But I could be Luke, the daddy, and the baby could be Luke the baby.
Alyssa: I don’t think so.
