I asked Alyssa what she wanted for lunch today. Not that she usually gives me an answer I can actually use, but I can always expect something interesting. It’s usually something random like “Spaghetti!” or “Pepsi please!” But today’s answer was extra special…with cheese on top.
Me: Alyssa, what do you want for lunch?
Alyssa: Uh, lunch meat, no onions, no bread, pickles, no onions, cheese stick, no onions……and it went on and on for several minutes. Also picture her with her pointer finger listing these things on her other hand!
She said no onions so many times because I was cracking up laughing when she would say it. She repeats to please me. :)
Let’s just say I think we’ve gone through the “Old MacDonald’s” (as she calls it) drive thru WAY to many times this month!

In other food news. Since Sunday afternoon, when Alyssa is eating gold fish or Teddy Graham crackers she says, “WATCH THIS MOMMY!” Then proceeds to bite the head off and then say, “I TOOK IT’S HEAD OFF!” and laughs.

Evan’s Food Related Achievements
Evan made his first sign phrase today. “More + Food” Luke and I thought it was pretty cool AND Evan was pretty proud of himself especially since we made such a big fuss over it.
AND he eats with a spoon now and is pretty good at it too. Here are some funny pictures I took of him eating from a “real” plate which makes the pictures extra cute.
Yep, I can get the food to my mouth! (most of the time)
Mmm, scouting out my next scoop.
That’s right, I’m eating from a pink spoon and loving it, at least I have a blue bib and a green cup, that doesn’t happen everyday.
And I shovel in as much as possible, because I just like it better that way.
